Alex began practicing yoga to relieve stress and anxiety. She quickly learned about asana sequencing and breathing techniques, and experienced that when practicing both, it profoundly benefitted her, physically, mentally and emotionally. After practicing for six years, Alex pursued a 200hr RYT yoga teacher certification to offer others the joy that yoga has given to her. Alex says, “Yoga reminds me how to improve and sustain mind-body health, while providing a happy balance of strength and flexibility. Pranayama, or breathwork, has helped me to ease anxiety. As long as I practice, I never stop learning.” Alex teaches many styles of yoga but her favorite is vinyasa flow. Off the mat, Alex enjoys hiking, cooking and going to the beach.
