Gentle Yoga and Reiki

Join us for a healing experience with Reiki Master Patrice. Once you are completely relaxed after a Gentle Yoga practice, you will receive Reiki as you rest in savasana. Reiki and Yoga are very different but practicing them together can be a calming and stress relieving experience. All levels welcome.

Spirit-ed (Spiritual Education)

Spiritual education is about becoming aware of a wider reality beyond what our body's senses can perceive, giving us the ability to see ourselves and the world differently, which makes it easier for us to see and release what no longer serves us and feel more peaceful, at ease, and free. Each class begins with a down-to-earth exploration of a spiritual topic, followed by a relaxing intuitive channeling of higher-dimensional wisdom and frequency to complement the lesson and even provide participants with personally relevant insights. *While not a movement class, you can bring your yoga mat or props to comfortably lie down for the channeling portion of the class, or you can use what is available at the studio.

Yinyasa

Yinyasa is a powerful pairing of two different styles of yoga fused into one practice- bringing together the benefits of passively holding yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures. Class will begin with a vinyasa flow to strengthen and invigorate the body and will then move into longer held yin poses to soothe and calm the mind and spirit.

Restorative

The perfect way to end your day or your week, Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow style of yoga, with a focus on movement with breath and mindfulness. Suitable for all levels, this restorative practice will leave you feeling relaxed and re-energized.

Outdoor Yoga @ Beechwood Park

Enjoy your yoga practice in the great outdoors! Classes will meet at the bandshell at Beechwood Park in Hillsdale on Sunday mornings. Bring your own mat and water.

Monday Morning Movement- Zoom Only

Start your week off with a one-hour practice designed to awaken the mind and body. Many hours working and sitting at our desks can cause unhealthy patterns to form in our bodies. Give yourself this time at the beginning of the week to create a strong foundation by centering your thoughts and opening your body in a gentle, yet strong practice. Practice focuses on building strength and balance with standing postures using light weights, blocks and straps to intensify or modify your own practice. Give yourself the gift of self-care and set a positive, healthy intention for your whole week. It might be just what you need to change your inner dialogue. Looking forward to meeting you on the mat. *AT HOME PROPS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS CLASS (LIGHT WEIGHTS, BLOCKS, STRAP)

Yogalates- Zoom Only

YOGA + PILATES make the perfect balance for those who want to combine the two practices. Our instructors think up creative ways to challenge the core and the yogic spirit.

Yoga Nidra- Zoom Only

Also known as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness, Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice of guided meditation practiced while lying down. It is intended to induce a deep meditative state of consciousness, from where one consciously creates one’s healing. Deep relaxation is one of the spontaneous “side effects.” During Yoga Nidra the breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness. The remedy to our often exhausted, over stimulated world.
